Getting Started

The TeleKloud™ XML API is a REST based API that allows any external script or system to communicate with the TeleKloud back office and process transactions in the same way they would be processed directly from the web interface. By posting a properly formatted block of XML to the web service you will receive a response in XML with the result of your request, whether success or failure. For Queue Services your transaction will be queued for processing, you can then call the "SEARCH_QUEUE" service to check the status of the transaction.

Learn : Authentication

In order to utilize the XML API you’ll need a API KEY, you can generate the key in the TeleKloud web interface by visiting “Settings > API Configuration” on the main menu. In addition to your API key you will need your primary system ID, you can find your system ID in your welcome e-mail or on the dashboard of the web interface. Some API’s require a “user”, for this variable you will need to use the e-mail address of any user on your system.

Authentication is always passed at the top of each XML request you make, see the example below:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<auth>
    <COREID>2135888852</COREID> - Change based on your account type, can be COREID, VARID, PARTNERID, OR AFFILIATEID
    <APIKEY>j5YSUZeZpYiZiUXnY3434EVERRER3dcE</APIKEY>
    <USER>you@youraddress.com</USER>
    <ACCOUNT_TYPE>CORE</ACCOUNT_TYPE> - Change based on your account type, can be CORE, VAR, PARTNER, OR AFFILIATE
</auth>

Learn : Exceptions & Errors

All exceptions are wrapped in the <exception> namespace and accompanied by a description. The <success> namespace is always returned and can either be a Y or N value.

<TELEKLOUD>
    <exception>
        <success>N</success>
        <error>The description of the error goes here.</error>
    </exception>
</TELEKLOUD>

Learn : Making a Request

Request are real-time, TeleKloud does not offer a sandbox enviroment for testing. Example request are show below for your convenience:

curl

curl -X POST -H 'Content-type: text/xml'  -d '<TELEKLOUD>data</TELEKLOUD>' https://secureaccesspoint.com/API/

$request = "<TELEKLOUD> <auth> <VARID>2135888852</VARID> <APIKEY>j5YSUZeZpYiZiUXnY3434EVERRER3dcE</APIKEY> <USER>you@youraddress.com</USER> <ACCOUNT_TYPE>VAR</ACCOUNT_TYPE> </auth> <service>CUSTOMER_CUSTOMER</service> </TELEKLOUD>"; $curl = curl_init(); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_URL, 'https://secureaccesspoint.com/API/'); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, array("Content-Type: application/xml")); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_POST, 1); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $request); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_HEADER, false); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true);; curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, true); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS, 1); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, 0); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST, 0); $response = curl_exec($curl); curl_close ($curl);
